Younger, Philippe Litzer toke leçons with Allan porter – chief editor of mythical magazine « Camera » at university of Bale. This teaching was decisive for his editorials and photographic choices. His artistic work is specialised in the « street photography » and I made his photography as caricature of our society.
He was writer and chief editor of many magazines ((PHOTO SUISSE, Revue Suisse de Photographie, Ciné-Photo-Expert, Photo Sélection, France Photographie).
He had given many convention in France about photography, with the intention to awake the sensibily of eatch of us.
Since many years, he organised meeting about photography, especially (travail d’auteur ?), pictures analyzes and, of course, about the new talented artists.
Always looking for decisive projets, Philippe Litzer is the new chief editor of artistical numeric magazine « OPENEYE, le regard d’aujourd’hui sur la photographie » who begin in the internet.
Philippe Litzler a suivi très jeune les cours d’Allan Porter – le Rédacteur en chef du mythique magazine Camera – à l’université de Bâle. Ceci a été déterminant pour ses choix, aussi bien rédactionnels que photographiques. Il s’est spécialisé dans la « street photography » et il conçoit ses images comme des caricatures de notre société.
Il a été Rédacteur et Rédacteur en chef de nombreux magazines photo (PHOTO SUISSE, Revue Suisse de Photographie, Ciné-Photo-Expert, Photo Sélection, France Photographie).
Il a également donné de nombreuses conférences dans toute la France sur la photographie, cherchant à éveiller le sens artistique de chaque participant.
Depuis quelques années il propose des séminaires sur la photographie, notamment sur le Travail d’Auteur, l’Analyse d’Image et bien sûr l’émergence de nouveaux talents.
Toujours à la recherche de ce qui est déterminant en photographie, Philippe Litzler est le nouveau Rédacteur en chef du magazine artistique et numérique « OPENEYE, le regard d’aujourd’hui sur la photographie », qui vient de démarrer sur le Net.
